Terms & Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all purchases made through the TERRESTRIALS UNITED online store.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions before completing your purchase.

1. The TERRESTRIALS UNITED Drop

TERRESTRIALS UNITED is a strictly limited, made-to-order wearable art drop created in support of UN Human Rights.

The drop launches on 18 June 2026, the UN International Day for Countering Hate Speech, and is available for a limited sales window from 18 June 2026 to 31 July 2026, unless sold out, withdrawn, extended, or amended at our discretion.

The TERRESTRIALS UNITED drop is intended as a cultural and human rights initiative addressing online hate and promoting and defending dignity, safety, and compassion – online and offline.

2. Limited Edition Wearable Art

Each item is produced as part of a limited wearable art campaign and is not intended as a standard retail fashion product.

The products are made available on a pre-order and/or made-to-order basis in order to minimise waste, avoid overproduction, and support the human rights awareness purpose of the project.

Because items are produced in limited quantities and/or made to order following customer purchase, customers are asked to check all order details carefully before completing payment, including size, delivery address, product type and quantity.

3. Intellectual Property

TERRESTRIALS UNITED, including the project name, campaign concept, associated branding and goodwill, is owned by the Producer. All Jamie Hewlett artwork used in connection with the TERRESTRIALS UNITED drop remains the copyright and intellectual property of Jamie Hewlett.

No purchase of any product transfers any copyright, trademark, licence, reproduction right, resale right, commercial exploitation right, or other intellectual property right to the purchaser.

Products may not be copied, reproduced, altered, adapted, reprinted, scanned, digitised, resold commercially, used for promotional purposes, or otherwise exploited without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder. Jamie Hewlett shall be credited as the artist of the artwork.

4. UN and UN Human Rights Disclaimer

References to the United Nations, UN Human Rights, the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, OHCHR, the UN International Day for Countering Hate Speech, or related UN initiatives are included solely in connection with the human rights awareness purpose of the campaign.

All United Nations names, marks, references and associated rights remain the property of the United Nations and/or its entities.

Nothing stated, displayed, sold, promoted, implied or expressed on this store represents the views, policies, positions, statements, endorsement, approval, or formal opinion of the United Nations, its entities, or any UN official, in substance or form.

The TERRESTRIALS UNITED project is an independent cultural and human rights initiative. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, agency, sponsorship, endorsement, joint venture, employment, or formal representative relationship between TERRESTRIALS UNITED, the Producer, Jamie Hewlett, and the United Nations and its entities.

5. No Third Party Affiliation

The TERRESTRIALS UNITED drop is an independent cultural and human rights initiative. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, licensed by, approved by, or endorsed by any third-party organisation, brand, event, governing body, rights holder, team, club, or commercial partner, except where expressly stated.

6. Product Images, Artwork Placement and Sizing

Product images, mock-ups, photographs and campaign visuals shown on the website are for illustrative purposes only.

The exact size, placement, colour, crop, alignment, and finish of the artwork may vary slightly from the images shown on the website, depending on garment size, garment type, print method, production tolerances and final approved manufacturing specifications.

Artwork sizing and placement may vary between small, medium, large, extra-large and other garment sizes. By placing an order, the purchaser accepts that reasonable variations may occur and that such variations do not constitute a defect.

We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate, but minor visual differences may occur between screen images and finished garments.

7. Sizing

Customers are responsible for selecting the correct size before completing their order.

Please check the size guide carefully before purchase. Because this is a strictly limited, made-to-order wearable art drop, we may not be able to offer size exchanges if the wrong size is ordered.

By placing an order, you expressly confirm that you have selected the correct size and understand that returns or exchanges for incorrect size selection will not be accepted, except where required by law.

8. Orders, Pre-Orders and Production

Orders may be taken on a pre-order and/or made-to-order basis.

This means that your item may not be manufactured, printed, packed, or dispatched immediately after purchase. Production and delivery timelines may vary depending on order volumes, supplier schedules, printing approvals, fulfilment logistics and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Estimated delivery windows, where provided, are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or refund an order where an item is unavailable, where payment cannot be processed, where there is a pricing or product error, where shipping is not available to the customer’s location, or where we reasonably believe that an order has been placed fraudulently or for unauthorised commercial resale.

9. Price, Payment and Taxes

Prices are shown on the store at the point of purchase.

Prices may include or exclude VAT, sales tax, duties, customs charges, shipping fees or other applicable charges depending on the customer’s location and the checkout process.

Customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, local taxes, handling charges, courier charges or other costs payable in their country or territory, unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.

Payment must be completed in full before an order is accepted.

10. Support for UN Human Rights

TERRESTRIALS UNITED is a cultural and human rights wearable art initiative in support of UN Human Rights. Purchase of a product is not itself a charitable donation by the customer and may not be tax deductible.

11. Returns, Cancellations and Exchanges

This is a strictly limited, made-to-order wearable art drop. Each purchaser expressly agrees at the point of sale that the item is being ordered in the selected size, product format and quantity chosen by the purchaser.

Subject always to your statutory rights and any cancellation rights that apply by law, we do not accept discretionary returns or exchanges for:

  • incorrect size selection;
  • change of mind;
  • minor colour, print, placement or scale variations;
  • delayed delivery where the item remains in production or transit;
  • limited edition status;
  • or customer error in the order details.

This does not affect your legal rights if goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or otherwise fall below standards required by applicable consumer law.

If you believe your item is faulty, damaged or materially not as described, you must contact us as soon as possible after delivery, providing your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the item and packaging.

Where a return, replacement, repair or refund is required by law, we will handle the matter in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

12. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, courier disruption, strikes, severe weather, incorrect delivery information, supplier delay, production delay, force majeure events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers must provide accurate and complete delivery information at checkout. We are not responsible for non-delivery, delayed delivery or additional shipping charges caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery details supplied by the customer.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer on delivery, subject to applicable consumer law.

13. Care of Garments

Garments should be cared for in accordance with the care instructions supplied with the product. These are as follows:

  • Wash at 30°C with similar colours.
  • Wash inside out to protect the artwork.
  • Do not iron directly on the print.
  • Iron inside out on a low setting.
  • Do not bleach.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not dry clean.

To preserve the artwork, customers should wash and care for the garment carefully.

We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, incorrect washing, tumble drying, ironing over prints, bleaching, alteration, excessive wear, or failure to follow care instructions.

14. Restrictions on Resale and Commercial Use

Products are sold for personal use only.

Customers may not purchase products for unauthorised commercial resale, promotional giveaways, brand collaborations, auctions, reproductions, derivative products, or any commercial exploitation without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to cancel orders that appear to be placed for bulk resale or unauthorised commercial use.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to that, we shall not be liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, reputational loss, disappointment, delay caused by third parties, or losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the relevant product, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Privacy & Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. When you place an order, contact us, or sign up to receive updates, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, billing and delivery details, and order information.

We use this information to process and fulfil your order, provide customer support, communicate with you about your purchase, comply with our legal obligations, and, where you have agreed, send you campaign or product updates.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
